This information will be shared with the vehicle manufacturer and other parties relevant to the repair procedure. S.H.M Bodyworx, the vehicle manufacturer and other relevant parties may contact the Customer to inform the Customer of products or services which may be of interest or may be asked to participate in a Customer Survey by the vehicle manufacturer. The Customer has the right to refuse the processing of information.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

We may have to share your information with a third party so we can complete our services for you. This may include but isn’t limited to insurance companies, part manufacturers, and contracted or outsourced companies (such as a wheel refurb company).

The companies and third parties we deal with will treat your information with the utmost respect and will not sell your details to anyone else.

We only pass on your information if it is strictly necessary to complete the job, on most occasions the third parties will only have our information and the vehicle details to match parts etc.

How Long Do We Retain Your Data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Any other information is retained for the required, legal amount of time, which is currently 7 years.

What Rights Do You Have Over Your Data?

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
